Delete your Cookbook account and data
In the app
- Open the Cookbook app (or the web app) and log in.
- Open the user menu and choose Account.
- Scroll to "Delete account", enter your password and confirm.
What is deleted
- If you are the last user of the account, your user and the whole account are erased: recipes with their photos and videos, categories, ingredient and measure lists, AI chat conversations, memories and the audit log. Uploaded media files are also removed from cloud storage.
- If other people still belong to the account, your user, your sessions, your chat conversations and your audit entries are erased. The shared recipes of the account stay for the other users.
Deletion in the app is immediate and cannot be undone. Copies in backups, if any are kept, and in technical logs are removed when they expire.
If you cannot use the app
Email support@adaptivecogito.com from the address you registered with and ask us to delete your account.
